Remember the old checkpoint mod ? There you go...
http://www.gtainside.com/en/sanandreas/mods/20166-check-point-mod/ (this mod wasn't created by me)

All you have to do is open up gta3.img with your img editor and replace these files.
I recommend using Alcis img editor.
